File-14

The Celtic swordsman is a cheap but effective anti-infantry unit that can be unlocked with gems. Although it may not be the strongest infantry unit, its low cost and ability to strike twice per turn make it a solid choice for many players seeking to counter enemy infantry. Its significant bonuses against infantry make it a dangerous threat to even the most fearsome melee units such as legionairres and men-at-arms. When backed up by units such as centurions or banner bearers, an army of Celtic swordsmen can be even more threatening. However, they lack good armor and good shields, so a player would be wise to keep these barbaric warriors away from ranged fire.
